The facility;
Acquired in May 2000, following consistent restructuring and expansion operations, in April 2002 new departments were launched which transformed the previous facility into a new hospital, capable of merging secure healthcare with highly advanced technologies and five star hotel hospitality levels. Major restructuring was performed on the Surgery Division, which doubled the number of ORs, created a new Sterilization Center capable of responding to the needs of the much larger Surgery Division, increased the capacity of Diagnostic Imaging and implemented brand new Radiotherapy and Hemodynamic services. Today, people choosing the Castellanza facility have the guarantee they are entering a hospital capable of providing a comprehensive approach to the care and treatment of patients, in all areas of Medicine, Surgery and Rehabilitation. Overall, the hospital facility extends over 22,000 sq.m., offers 266 accredited beds, of which 23 for same day procedures DayHospital and 243 for standard admissions.
