MultiLab is the Laboratory Pathology and Medicine Department formed from the diagnostic laboratories of the MultiMedica Group, a hospital group that can count on more than 25 years experience in the
healthcare world, which has known how to combine successfully the binomial of advanced technology
and highly qualified healthcare services.
The mission
To produce high value added,innovative tests which are frequently not available in many public
and/or private facilities and to contribute to the development of routine tests characterizing
them by high qualitative standards,timeliness and low costs.
The strategy
MultiLab’s strategy is to offer a global and at the same time modular outsourcing service.
A service which readily adapts to the needs of the different clients that have decided to completely or only partially outsource their laboratory, cytology and histopathology activities.
This strategy is based on three modular factors:
1. Laboratory and pathological cyto/histology service;
2. Continuous diagnostic support to manage emergencies (in the Casualty Ward and at the hospitalized Patient's bedside);
3. Pathological Anatomy Remote consulting: real-time second opinion on intra-operation examinations, complex cytological and/or histological cases.
MultiLab has been designed to operate as a vertical laboratory in outsourcing mode, a facility capable of managing large volumes of analyses and provide effective and efficient responses not only to all the hospitals and outpatient centers of the MultiMedica Group, but also to other medium/small size laboratories and to other public or private hospital facilities, thanks to the use cutting-edge technology.
