A Palliative Treatment Integrated Home Healthcare team has been established within the Oncology Operating Unit of Sesto S.G. to implement the “therapy plan” jointly defined by the patient’s General Practice Doctor and the Multidimensional Evaluation Unit of the Distretto Socio Sanitario ASL Milano 3, by enabling our staff to operate directly in patients’ homes. .
Which professional figures are available for home healthcare?
In agreement with the patient’s General Practice Doctor, the following figures are authorized to deliver treatment at the patient’s home: nurse, rehabilitation therapist, Social Assistance Operator (ASA) and specialized Doctors (oncologist) and psychologist..

· Cinisello Balsamo, Cormano, Cusano Milanino, Bresso districts
When is this service activated?
The home healthcare service is activated within two days following the request and is active 24X7, in compliance with PAI requirements
