For this purpose, the company has decided to equip itself with specific management tools such as ISO 9001 certification, Joint Commission (as part of the regional project) and Risk Management, able to better support the achievement of these objectives.
The Quality and Clinical Risk Office of MultiMedica, taking into account the indications of the General Management, has as their main task to correctly set up the business management model and to spread the culture of quality at all levels. The office provides the functions concerned (Operational Units, Services, Office, etc.) with the necessary assistance and advice for the correct application of quality and safety standards, ensuring, directly or indirectly, continuous training and training. Also in agreement with other company departments (Health, Pharmacy, Risk Manager, Prevention and Protection Service Manager), it carries out inspections, collects and analyses data, using appropriate indicators and evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, activating, where necessary, appropriate corrective actions or improvement plans.
The clinical pathways and nursing documentation of the single MultiMedica Operating Units, defined by the healthcare staff for the correct management of the main pathologies treated, refer to national and international standards of proven scientific evidence, in order to always guarantee the best result of treatment for the patient.
The Quality Department coordinates the various projects at group level involving all the main process managers, providing the Departments with an integrated tool for corporate management and clinical governance.
